Gisa
and Johnny were my clients. Johnny's love for the ocean determined
the subject matter, a sea turtle, as well as the dominant
color of blue. I received carte blance for all else, so I
experimented with veined blue tiles to get more variety in
the water. The tiles used for the turtle are more transparent
and are veined with bronze/gold. When the sun hits the turtle,
it sparkles so beautifully.
