A panel inset for a shower. This was a project for badly needed bathroom renovation at a newly purchased house. The father wanted it to feature a Blue Jay and also sent me pictures of poppies his wife is fond of. Only the Dad lived at the new house at that time.
I decided to represent the entire family in the mosaic, anticipating when they all could be together again
.
The father is feathering the nest for his young family, flying above them, preparing their house to be a home.
